The Bells Valley Hens Story

The Bells Valley Hens Story

Bells Valley Farm is a 370-acre farm located in Goshen, Virginia. The Stoltzfus family, which originally farmed for nearly 100 years in Pennsylvania, purchased Bells Valley Farm in 2012 and have operated it as a sustainable, family-run business ever since. When “Dad” wanted to retire in 2015, sons Jason and Calvin decided to carry on the family tradition and keep Bells Valley going. Bells Valley Hens is the chicken division of the farm operation. At Bells Valley Hens, we produce great-tasting, nutrient-dense, pastured poultry products. We believe well-fed, free-to-roam chickens create superior eggs, so we feed our chickens Certified Organic Grains grown mostly in the Shenandoah Valley, and allow our chickens to wander our pastures year-round under the protective eye of our Great Pyrenees guard dog, Buddy.
